Gravotech’s F20 Energy laser station with LW3 Touch enables fast and top-quality laser engraving with a 175mm x 175mm marking area, benchtop enclosure, and top-of-the-line safety features.
Compatible with Fiber, Hybrid, or Green source, the F20 can mark almost any material (with the exception of live materials, such as wood). The station’s three access doors accommodate small to large parts with simple to complex geometries.
We’re capable of marking multiple square-angle parts simultaneously, and with an add-on rotary table in place, we can even laser engrave round parts.
Precise, permanent marks
When we engrave your parts using our laser station, the beam blasts the material with extraordinary energy, generating enough heat to instantly vaporize the material into fumes, completely bypassing the liquid phase. The resulting marks are deep, precise, and permanent.

Part identification
For our customers whose machines build medical devices, keeping replacement parts on hand is critical to maintaining production. By engraving part numbers on each part, we help these customers ensure they grab the correct part when repairing a machine. This most basic level of park marking also helps teams track inventory.
Part inspection
One customer sorts their completed parts into laser engraved fixtures for inspection. After loading 12 parts at a time into each engraved station, their team can notate which parts pass and which fail simply by documenting each part’s location in the sorting container.
Part revision
For customers whose parts are still undergoing revisions, we laser engrave the part number and the revision number. For example, part 705-A may not be visually discernible from part 705-B, but the markings enable easy confirmation that the right part is being used at the right time.
Part serialization
If your company performs detailed data analytics, we can laser engrave your parts with not only the part and revision numbers but also the serial numbers. This solution helps with tracking individual batches of parts. If serial numbers 100-150 perform at an optimal run time and serial numbers 151-200 perform sub-optimally, you’ll have the information needed to evaluate what changed between the first batch and the second.
Part purchase order numbers
Our oil and gas industry customers get the purchase order number laser engraved onto each part. Because large industry customers procure their parts from multiple manufacturing partners, they use the purchase order information to identify the exact vendor who produced any given part. In an industry where a single part’s failure can lead to catastrophe, the ability to determine where the part was sourced isn’t just smart—it’s necessary.
